Despite living in sunny Southern California, we can still participate in a quintessential colder weather activity – ice skating with our families. While we may not have the opportunity to ice skate in Central Park with falling snow, the next best thing is a convenient indoor arena centrally located in Mira Mesa. Perfect for after school, weekend fun or holiday breaks, you can load up on these certificates and enjoy some family time together. Saturdays and Sundays from 1pm to 3pm are “Family Party Sessions,” designed for families with children ages 5-12. This fun session includes a live DJ and the arena mascot “Ice-Qub” organizing games for the whole family to enjoy. Other special sessions include “Teenage Meltdown” on Friday nights for young people between 13-19 and “Adult Night” on Tuesday evenings. Keep in mind, all special sessions are open to the public (except for “Adult Night”). Click here for more details. Public skating times vary throughout the week. It also puts on the very popular “Fantasy on Ice” at Horton Plaza during the holidays to benefit Rady Children’s Hospital. |
