The true spirit of Christmas will come alive this December with A Christmas Tabernacle, a family-friendly 3-day festival at NTC Liberty Station on December 16–18, 2011! Enjoy a variety of activities; including a Fun Zone, a Living Nativity, Santa’s Village (complete with Santa pics, live Reindeer and a Snow Hill), Arts & Crafts, Holiday Foods & Treats, a Cookie Decorating Station, Themed Christmas Trees, Shopping for Christmas Gifts, and Horse & Carriage Rides. Two entertainment stages will showcase continuous entertainment, including local school and church choirs singing Christmas favorites, Christmas-themed plays and skits including The Nutcracker and It’s a Wonderful Life, story readings, Christmas concerts, and more! In addition to memorable family fun, there will be philanthropic opportunities at the Santa’s Workshop - where families can make items with their own hands and turn them in to be donated as Christmas gifts to needy families throughout San Diego. A percentage of proceeds from A Christmas Tabernacle benefit local charities including Rady Children’s Hospital, The Salvation Army, Toys for Tots and USO San Diego.
