Need a fun place to take the kids while they are on break so you can tackle some last minute shopping? The Origin Holiday Hip Hop Camp has you covered! For just $16, your kids will be thoroughly entertained, educated and exercised for six full hours. Holiday crafts and treats are included. And, your kids get to explore hip hop, art, fashion design, audio production and more! Buy 2 certificates and start at 6am on ‘Black Friday’ – the day after Thanksgiving – for extra shopping and holiday prep time! Your kids can stay until 6pm. (You can also use 1 certificate for regular camp hours of 9am to 3pm). The Origin Hip Hop Cultural Center is conveniently located on in El Cajon on Fletcher Parkway. Get a group of kids together, carpool, and let them have a great time – while you run all your holiday errands. With sessions at Thanksgiving & before and after Christmas, you can take advantage of shopping time – as well as maybe a little break for yourself. Camp days and times: November 21st – 23rd: 9am to 3pm November 25th: 6am to 6pm (or 9am to 3pm) December 19th – 23rd: 9am to 3pm December 26th – 30th: 9am to 3pm The Origin is a non-profit organization in association with Young Artist Music Academy started by Cheryl Frye and her children Darius and Destiny in 2002. Since then they have taught hip hop classes and children’s theater to children, teens and adults all over San Diego with their dance troupes Small Frye, Generation F, The Next Generation and Full Swagger. They have performed throughout California including Knott’s Berry Farm, SAY Day at the Bay, Kuumba Fest at The Lyceum Theater and Hip Hop International USA/World Hip Hop Competition and many more local venues. The “Origin” Hip Hop Cultural Center is dedicated to bring awareness and understanding of the physical, social, emotional, cognitive, creative cultural and educational values of the Hip Hop Culture. |
