For $39, you and your child can take a ‘Glass Garden Terrarium’ class at The Living Studio, where you will discover how to "green up" your living space with a custom terrarium (glass enclosed custom miniature indoor landscape) made in beautiful glass orb. Class sizes are limited so you receive individual attention while learning basic design principles and mechanics incorporating succulents, cactuses, airplants, colored sands, pebbles & more! Your one-of-a-kind creation can be embellished with decorative materials for a truly unique and organic piece of art. Owners Elizabeth & Mara are experienced instructors who will teach you how to design, build and care for these amazing glass gardens, which are very low maintenance and can live for years. Explore your creative side while spending quality time with your child for a day of fun in Del Mar. The two hour classes are held Saturday and Sunday mornings. Click here for a current schedule. Kids ages 4-11 must be accompanied by an adult. Kids over 12 can bring a friend and do not need an accompanying adult.
